Make sure you get Warm!

If you haven’t noticed it is getting a little colder out these days, which means it is going to be colder in the box! All of our warm-ups are geared to get you ready for the WOD each and every day but everyone is also different so we want to make sure we stay safe and avoid injury as it starts to get cold this winter. When we are getting ready to do our 1 reps, 3 reps, 5 reps, or just move weight in general we want to make sure our bodies are primed and ready to do so. You hear us talk about doing a few reps with an empty bar then a lighter weight and build up to your attempts. With it being that much colder out now, it is the time to do a few more reps with that empty bar to get your body ready to move heavy weight and help not tweak anything once we get moving. Let’s be smart as we start to move into winter and keep moving some heavy weight!
