New Coaches Spotlight: Nichole Bentz

Over the next few days we will be posting quick interviews done with our newest coaches so that you can get to know them better!

Nichole Bentz:

-CrossFit Level 1 Certification

Athletic Background:
I did Basketball and Track for all 4 years of high school. Along with Volleyball and Dance team for 3 years. I was on the OSU Women's Crew team for the Fall term of my freshman year. After that I did lightweight body-building with friends and community pick-up basketball games until Crossfit.

Favorite Movement to Teach:
The power clean or the deadlift. What's more fun then teaching how to pick up heavy things?!

What Do I love most about Coaching:
I like to see the change in confidence. Some times people wont be confident about a movement and then once it clicks they OWN it like none other. It is so great to see. But really everything about coaching is my favorite. Talking to everyone, hearing about how their days have been, and joking around it is all the best.

Favorite Movement:
Any kind of Clean and the Deadlift.

Favorite WOD:
Any Hero WOD or anything that is long and mentally challenging as much as it is physically challenging.

Favorite CrossFit Athlete:
Dan Dreamboat Bailey!!!

Favorite Cheat Meal:
Donuts..always.

What I like to do besides CrossFit:

I like to read British 18th Century literature, ride my horse, and photography.

Favorite thing about CrossFit Train?:

The community all the way. On my very first day I felt so welcomed and I made friends so quickly. Train has the feeling of just throwing down a workout at a friends house. After working out at other gyms before Train it was amazing to find a community like this. Everyone is so open and loving. They cheer for you not only in the gym, but also in life. I have made some lifelong friends here.
